VERSOMA Completes First Tour, Announces Lineup Changes
August 30, 2006New York/Philadelphia quartet VERSOMA just completed their first tour with Robotic Empire labelmates RED SPAROWES and DAUGHTERS. The ten-day jaunt took the band up and down the East Coast (and Canada) with a solidified new lineup. The departure of Greg Drudy and Brad Wallace was met with a full change in the rhythm section, now featuring Robin Fowler (of SINO BASILA) on drums and Tom Clavin (of ANODYNE, DISNIHIL) on bass.
Unable to let a lineup change slow things down, VERSOMA performed the bulk of the material from their debut EP, "Life During Wartime", along with two completely new songs. These new tracks will be found on their to-be-titled debut album sometime in the earlier part of 2007, for which they have rough skeletons of five more songs. Not resting there, the band will jump in the van again throughout September and October for a variety of shows, including dates with ISIS.
